When you come to visit AFE, don't forget to stop by its new store on the second story of its elementary school building. This store represents one AFE's attempts to develop self-sustaining income. (We also have an off-site chicken farm). At AFE's store you can purchase at-cost souvenir items and a percentage of the income supports AFE's operational budget.

These items include:
- a stand-up desk calendar decorated with drawings by AFE's students ($5 each)
- delicious Honduran coffee, in various flavors and roasts, for $5 a pound
- hand-carved wooden relief sculptures by Hector, a neighbor of AFE and self-taught woodworker (prices vary)

- in lieu of pricey team shirts, why not purchase an AFE t-shirt, polo, or hat? T-shirts sell for $8 each and polo shirts for $15.
- beaded jewelry, made by AFE's mothers in their new entrepreneurial venture, "Luz y Esperanza"

AFE mothers make beads from recycled paper in the garbage dump. These beautiful necklaces sell for 150 L each ($6). Soon "Luz Y Esperanza" (Light and Hope) will offer necklaces and earrings for sale on their own website, created by the women themselves. Until then, you can purchase these works of art at AFE's store.
